If I had a dime for every question I receive on social media, I’d be rich! Veterinarians’ interest in social media seems to be at an all time high and so is their anxiety. I feel the same way and I am on this Social Media journey with you. Lately, I’ve been writing my columns in DVM News to explain what I am learning in the hope that I can help veterinarians and practice managers make sense of this new communication tool.
In the process of exploring social media, I am discovering, with increasing enjoyment, what a wonderful, simple and low-cost community-building tool social media can be.
I just finished another column for DVM News on 5 Great Reasons Why Social Media is for You, Too. My hope in writing it was to de-mystify and encourage those who are still on the fence about social media to try it.
The five reasons social media is for you are listed below and you can read the whole article at: http://bit.ly/9M44dG
Social Media –
- Will help you stay relevant in a fast-changing world
- Gives you valuable insights on pet owners and clients
- Can empower your employees and help you build better relationships
- Gives you an easy, fast, low-cost way of communication news and helpful information
- Blogs, tweets, posts and more put you in control if you make a plan for using them
